Dudley CVS is a charity organisation that supports all sizes and types of voluntary and community groups, charities and social enterprises, that benefit the people of Dudley borough.
Before coaching, Andy was consumed with day-to-day firefighting. He was spinning plates and completely tired out, with no energy left to drive the business forward and do the things he wanted to do.
Initially Andy wasn’t sure what to expect from business coaching, but working in the charity sector he was eager to gain an external perspective and leverage private sector skills to push himself and his team forward.

Given the nature of Dudley CVS’s work, they often receive numerous requests for assistance and support from various stakeholders, leading to potential distractions. However, thanks to the guidance of business coaching, Andy has successfully taken a step back to gain clarity on prioritising what truly matters for the charity, enabling them to fulfil their vision and mission effectively.

Having a more focused approach has allowed Andy to spend more time thinking about how the business is progressing. He now holds fortnightly internal coaching sessions, which has not only brought structure and a clear sense of purpose but has also created stronger relationships within the team.

Andy continues his coaching journey, and in what can often be a challenging landscape, feels confident to take the next step forward.
