Andy gets these results by not just coaching his clients in the proven principles for business growth, but by holding is his clients accountable to their business goals, and personal goals.

Andy shapes his clients to not only have the business they want, but the time to enjoy the benefits of owning the business—”The business is a vehicle for your life, why not have BOTH an awesome business AND the freedom of time a business can bring”.

Prior to starting the business in 2007, Andy gained a diversity of business experience including training as a chartered accountant, gaining a marketing specialised MBA, and performing senior management roles in both sales and marketing strategy in the UK and globally.

His philosophy is two-fold:

• First, he sees it as his privilege to join his clients on their journey – and is committed to his own personal development to help them develop themselves and become more effective leaders and business owners.
• Second, he sees the world through a “less is always more” lens.  He values balance in his life–though not at the expense of results–and as such has created one of the most leveraged and profitable practices in ActionCOACH, all on less than 30 hours per week.

Kerry joined ActionCOACH Black Country back in 2020 with a background in marketing, a life coaching qualification and a family-business in tow.

Kerry’s marketing career took her from in-house roles to agencies where she became a specialist in marketing strategy and planning. In 2018 she set up a company with her dad offering administrative support to small businesses.

Over the last three years Kerry has networked her way around the Black Country to get business owners to understand what ActionCOACH Black Country can offer and how we can help them to have a business that can work without them. Kerry became a fully-fledged ActionCOACH in 2021 and brings her own style to it to get the best out of her clients.

The best way to explain Kerry’s coaching philosophy is to hear it from her:

“I’m a lover of a good film (especially a heart-warming Christmas film…at the appropriate time of year of course!) and it was during a Sunday afternoon watching ‘The Holiday’ when I had my BFO (Blinding Flash of the Obvious) about why I wanted to become a coach. It was during an exchange between Kate Winslet’s character Iris and the lovely Arthur…

Arthur: You, I can tell, are a leading lady, but for some reason you are behaving like the best friend.

Iris : You’re so right. You’re supposed to be the leading lady of your own life, for god’s sake!

With that one line, I was struck by how many of us act like or feel like the best friend and are afraid to step into the spotlight to lead the life we have always dreamed of.

From that moment I realised that coaching for me was about the person first. It’s about helping my clients to be confident business owners – to be the leading person in their business and their life, to let go of the fear of what others may think and know that they can carve out their own path towards their dreams. You have to believe that you can do it first and then a successful business will follow.”

Kerry is a coach specialising in marketing, teams, time and processes with a history of working with family businesses and female entrepreneurs.

Outside of the office you will find Kerry spending time with her family, spoiling her nieces and nephews and enjoying some downtime with a good film and a cup of tea! If there’s one thing you need to know about Kerry it’s that she LOVES a cup of tea!

Suzanne is a versatile marketer with over 19 years of experience. Having achieved a B.A Hons degree in Marketing Management with Business Management from the University of Gloucestershire School of Business, Suzanne spent 13 years as Marketing Manager for a well-known DIY brand, where she had the opportunity to deliver a variety of marketing campaigns and work with DIY retailers all over the world.

Since joining ActionCoach Black Country in January 2023, Suzanne has been able to get her teeth stuck into a completely new industry, something she describes as “very refreshing”.

“I love a challenge. This role regularly takes me outside of my comfort zone and there’s always an opportunity to learn something new. Knowing that what the team does makes a genuine difference to our clients gives me a real sense of purpose. It’s a good feeling knowing that I’m playing a part in something meaningful”.

Outside of work you will find Suzanne chasing around (or being chased by) her three young children and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys long family welly walks, cooking, movie nights and going out for breakfast/brunch/lunch or dinner!
